Our Values

There is room for businesses of all sizes to better manage their impact on the environment. Every single day we do our best to make ethical, inclusive and eco-conscious choices about our production and technological processes, as well as looking at how the business can give back to the community. This core thread runs through the whole of our business, from the small day to day decisions, to our business as a whole.

See how we incorporate sustainability into our operations:

  • 100% Plant Based

As time goes by, we are becoming more and more aware of how our food choices impact our environment and our health. All our products and menus are 100% plant based, free from GMO’s and animal testing.

  • Local & Organic Suppliers

We love farms, farmers markets, and local ethnic shops. We feel thrilled to explore the city looking for the next best and most delicious fresh and seasonal product to use on our creations!

  • Fairtrade

When the products we need can’t be sourced locally we always look for Fairtrade products. Fairtrade is an Organisation that guarantees sustainable pricing, safe working conditions and fair terms for farmers and workers in developing countries.

  • Waste Disposal

At +Plantae we aim to be 100% zero-waste. Starting by minimising the amount of waste created initially, we look for plastic-free packed food, reusing items when we can and when it is not possible, we always recycle. There is no such thing as food waste in our dictionary. All leftovers are offered to staff, local community or charities.

  • Paper Menus & Digital Receipts

When needed, our menus are always printed on recycled paper. Our POS system allows us to email every receipt, avoiding the massive receipt paper waste.

  • Sustainable Packaging

All our take-away packaging is recycled, compostable and biodegradable. We always find kinder alternatives to support Earth's finite resources. After serving their purpose, all items will biodegrade into the environment quickly and safely.

Do you think we could be doing something better?

“If it can’t be reduced, reused, repaired, rebuilt, refurbished, refinished, resold, recycled or composted, then it should be restricted, redesigned or removed from production.”
